Hello, I’m Petey!
I came to Colorado from the Spanish Riding School, and my owner is letting me help out at Smiling Goat Ranch on lease! I’m a 20 year old Andalusian gelding and the tallest of the herd at 17.1 hands and 1065 lbs. I’ve been at the ranch since summer 2021 and am still learning how to use my fancy dressage moves to be a therapy horse! I’m loving my new job and meeting so many new friends!
Fun fact: Andalusians were used as warhorses in the Ancient Greek and Roman Empires.
